James and Melissa Armel brought their Orlando based 1970 Chevelle to the Spring Daytona Beach Car Show & Swap Meet inside the Daytona International Speedway on March 27-29, 2009. It is painted Fathom blue with white Rally stripes, an SS hood and 17” American Torque Thrust wheels, while the interior is done up in pearl white. Putting the “muscle” in this car is a 388 cubic inch stroker motor with Edelbrock RPM aluminum heads, Crane roller rockers, Edelbrock cam and lifter kit, Edelbrock air gap intake with a 750 cfm carb, Hedman headers, a Turbo 350 automatic with a 3,500 stall converter, and an Eaton posi rear end with 3.55:1 gears.
