This 1979 Pontiac Trans Am had the special edition “Bandit” appearance package when bought new for $8,816. It is black with the gold Firebird on the hood, has gold “honeycomb” wheels, and even has “Bandit” lettered on the doors below the windows. It was displayed with a cowboy hat and wedding dress to complete the “Smokey And The Bandit” theme, and looked really authentic.
