Ron & Ann Skow of Venice, Florida left Sunday afternoon with a Pros Pick in hand for their slick 1937 Ford Coupe. Ron told us the idea was to put together a top notch car without leaving the Sarasota area. There were many subtle custom touches, such are the one-off elliptical taillight bezels, hood side vents, and various interior items. The black paint is set off by some “ragged” style flames and neat Colorado Custom rims. Power comes via a 350 Ramjet, 700R4 overdrive automatic, and 9” Ford rear end with 3.70:1 posi gears. Air Ride suspension lets it hug the ground when parked, and the red leather interior keeps things comfortable and stylish. We could tell it was a fresh car, which was confirmed when Ron told us it only had 500 miles on it at the time of the Southeast Street Rod Nats.
