While at the NSRA Southeast Nationals, Less and Arlene Howell took a “Rep/Safety Pick” home with them to Sarasota for their 1968 Pontiac Firebird. This once neglected castaway was lovingly modified by Less, who was primarily responsible for the engine assembly and interior installation. The car was given a different look thanks to the installation of a front end off a ‘68 Camaro. Other items include a Ram Air 400 engine, 400 automatic, Fatman subframe with tubular control arms, rack and pinion steering, and 4-wheel disc brakes.
