The driveline is a fuel injected Ford 5.0 HO motor with coated shorty headers, a floor shifted AOD automatic transmission, and a 3.73 posi rear end. The Newkirks wheeled down from their home in Jacksonville to attend the NSRA Southeast Nationals in Tampa on October 9th-11th, 2009.
