Carl Girod’s red 1948 Thames (English Ford) is called “1/4 Pounder” because it is a 1/4 ton panel, and is a ground pounder with a 355 Chevy engine, 350 automatic, and 9” Ford rear end putting power to Centerline wheels. It has a two-tone brown interior, hails from Plant City, and Carl is a member of the Rods & Rides car club.
