This is Tom McEwen’s Plymouth Dealers backed 1965 Plymouth Barracuda, the first ever rear engined “Funny Car”. This car took flight one night at Lion’s Drag Strip at over 150 m.p.h. with ugly results!! It is shown here after it was rebuilt, racing at Pomona, California with Fred Goeske driving.
