The “Double Eagle” (near lane) of Adams and Enriquez takes on “Mr. C” Gary Cochran at Orange County International Raceway in this 1970 match up. The Don Enriquez driven, Gene Adams tuned car was a dual engined injected nitro machine that did run competitive times with the blown nitro single engine machines of the era. The “Double Eagle” car was the last competitive unblown Top Fuel Dragster in drag racing history. For professional motorsports photography contact Steve Reyes at sb.reyes@cox.net
