Tim Wilkerson qualified number one in Funny Car at the 2004 Mac Tools Gatornationals with a 4.90, 300.00 m.p.h. charge in his 2004 Chevy Monte Carlo bodied flopper. It was the debut race for the teams new Monte Carlo shell. Wilkerson made it to the semi finals in Funny Car where he was defeated by eventual runner up John Force.
