Joe Cengore had an info sign displayed with his rare 1939 Ford 4-Door Convertible which had the following facts: It was the last year the beautiful, expensive, convertible sedan was offered. At $920 it not only was Fords most expensive model, it also was the only one with a base price over $900 and drew only 3,561 orders. When the top is folded, the upper B-pillar posts are removed for a clean body line from windshield to top boot. This convertible was painstakingly and authentically restored in the early 1980s, and ended up in a barn in Maine for a period of 8 years. It still looks good now!
