This 1969 Camaro Yenko/SC belongs to Darrel Cole, and was on hand for Old Town’s 18th Anniversary Saturday Nite Cruise on June 7th, 2008. It is bright orange with Yenko stripes down the sides, and a black vinyl interior, but the real story is the COPO (Central Office Production Order) option of the L-72 big block 427 cubic inch V-8 under the hood, which pumps out 425 horses through an M-21 4-speed transmission. A total of 201 Yenko Camaros were sold in ‘69, with 171 of them having 4-speed transmissions, and 30 with a Turbo 400 automatic. Awesome!
