Getting ready to do a burnout in preparation for a charge down the quarter mile is a neat 1957 Studebaker Hawk, which was dark blue with yellow, orange and red flames. Note the covered grandstands, which were on both sides of the track...something that was a welcomed break to get out of the sun and catch some neat vintage drag racing action all at the same time.
