Pictured here are two of GM’s best performance and image cars of their era. On the left, the silver 1977 Pontiac Trans Am owned by Chris Prohaska, was $6,769.28 when new, and came equipped with the 6.6-litre 400 cubic inch V-8 engine, Honeycomb wheels, sport mirrors, and a black interior complete with bucket seats, a console with a shifter for the auto trans, AM/FM radio, electric rear defroster, and full factory gauges including a tach. The 1980’s aren’t known for many high performance cars, but on the right is one of the fastest production cars of all-time, this 1987 Buick Grand National owned by Sunny Prohaska. Under the hood is a chrome-accented 3.8-litre Turbocharged V-6 with SFI and an Intercooler, and the black and gray cloth interior has all of the luxury items including a leather wrapped tilt wheel, cruise, factory A/C and bucket seats with a center console. The all black exterior has factory wheels with raised white lettered tires.
