If my memory serves me right this photo was taken in 1990. It is in the staging lanes of Bandimere Speedway (home of the Mile High Nationals in Colorado), and it was the first day that Michael and I both raced on the same day. The time was short lived, as the next week I broke a crank, destroying the cylinder head. It took me about 2 years to rebuild the motor, which was upped to 1400cc, with 38mm carbs. I could have had it all together sooner, but I was focusing my main efforts on Michael's program after we bought him a Suzuki GS 1100.
