Merritt Island resident Don Greenslade was having a blast with his 1931 Ford Roadster, which is blue and black with a 4-cylinder engine and matching trailer. In the front he had a mannequin laying under the engine area, as if someone was working on the car. Don had one walkie talkie planted on the mannequin, and from a slight distance away he would surprise onlookers by saying things into the other walkie talkie such as “Hey, don’t step on my legs” and “Can’t you see I’m working down here?”. It was pretty funny, and everyone had a good sense of humor about the whole thing....usually reacting by looking around to find the culprit. Usually Don’s smiling face and/or chuckles were enough to give him away.
