From New York City is Squad Company 343, which is a fire truck dedicated to traveling around as a rolling memorial and tribute to the 343 firefighters from New York City who lost their lives responding to the tragedy of events on September 11, 2001. The truck has a motto, “We’ve got a job to do!”, which is the last known words spoken on 9/11/01 by Capt. Patrick Brown of Ladder Co. #3 as they responded to the North Tower of the World Trade Center.
